MELVIN HOOTS- President
Melvin began his career in the industry when he returned to his home from college in 1972 to work for Murray Supply Company in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Murray soon transferred him to Charlotte, North Carolina where he remained with Murray Supply until 1975. Melvin joined Tompkins-Johnston, Inc. a mechanical contracting firm. Having a strong wholesaling background, he was introduced to purchasing and planned "take off" work at Tompkins-Johnston. Bradford Sales Company employed Melvin in 1977 where he remained until forming H & H Representatives, Inc. While at Bradford Sales, Inc., he performed inside sales duties dealing with customers all over the two Carolinas and later became an outside salesman traveling territories from Charlotte to Burlington, North Carolina. Bradford Sales, Inc. Being a leading manufacturer's agency in commercial products acquainted Melvin with drainage products, fixtures, electric water coolers, plumbing brass, etc.
CHRIS BANKHEAD- Vice President
Chris joined H & H Representatives in April, 1991 after six years with Ferguson Enterprises. While at Ferguson, he worked in the inside sales department for 2 years and then worked as an outside salesman 4 years. As Vice-President, Chris is in charge of all H & H sales representatives, new business development and growth of the business. Chris also covers the Charlotte, NC market. Chris is a gradutate of the Citadel in Charleston, SC.
GREG WALKER
Greg joined H & H Representatives in April, 1988. Greg provides H & H with 21 years of experience in the plumbing rep business and a strong background in the contracting business. Greg lives in Columbia, SC and his territory is the Midland and Low Country markets of South Carolina. His outside sales responsibilities are for our full plumbing product line for all contractors and distributors in his market territory.
REGINALD ANDERSON
Reggie joined H & H Representatives in January, 1990. Reggie is the Warehouse Manager for our Charlotte office and oversees warehouse personnel and all shipping, receiving and inventory operations.
DEBBIE TOWERY
Debbie joined H & H Representatives in September, 1993 after having worked with a plumbing wholesaler for 8 years. She is the Operations Manager for the Charlotte office. Debbie is responsible for inside sales of our plumbling lines, accounts receivable, RGA return request and submittal requests. Debbie also provides administrative assistance for our President, Melvin Hoots and Vice-President, Chris Bankhead. Debbie is a graduate of Scared Heart College.
DANNY TODD, CPD
Danny joined H & H Representatives in January, 1997 after 25 years as a senior design for a mechanical engineer. With his engineering experience, he is our resident Engineering Sales Specialist providing technical and design support for all of our plumbing and medical gas product lines. Danny calls on all plumbing / mechanical engineers in North Carolina and South Carolina.
JODI BURRIS
Jodi joined H & H Representatives in May, 1998. Jodi is responsible for inside sales for our plumbing lines, sales order entries, submittal requests and literature coordination. She also provides sales support for our Beacon Medaes medical gas product line. Jodi also provides administrative assistance for our President, Melvin Hoots and Vice-President, Chris Bankhead. Jodi attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
DAVID LINDNER
David joined H&H Representatives in November, 1999, working part-time in our Charlotte Warehouse while he completed his degree from UNC Charlotte. Dave is responsible for inside sales for our plumbing lines, sales order entries and handles additional duties for our automated manufacturers inventory control systems.
BRENT GROVE
Brent joined H & H Representatives in May, 2003. Brent lives in Greenville, SC and his territory is Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. His outside sales responsibilities are for our full plumbing product lines for all contractors and distributors in his market territory.
MEREDITH LANSING
Meredith joined H&H Representatives in May, 2003. Meredith handles inside sales for our plumbing lines, quote preparation for all inside and outside sales staff. Meredith is a graduate of The University of South Carolina.
PAT COYLE
Pat joined H & H Representatives in November, 2005. He is responsible for our Beacon Medaes Medical Gas product line for South Carolina, Western NC and Eastern NC. He also calls on engineers and provides distributor and contractor support for our Heat Transfer Product line for North and South Carolina.
PETE CASTINE
Pete joined H & H Representatives in January, 2006. He has 25 years outside sales experience in the plumbing industry. Pete is respsonsible for all plumbing lines for the Central NC market.
WILLIAM (JUNIOR) SMITH
William joined H & H Representatives in May, 2006. He assists with all shipping and receiving in our Charlotte warehouse.

SCOTT SANSBURY
Scott joined H&H Representatives in May, 2004 as manager of the Raleigh office. He brings with him 19 years of plumbing sales experience. While in college Scott went to work for Ferguson Enterprises in the warehouse. After graduation he worked in inside sales in Florence, SC for 8 years then in Myrtle Beach for 6 years as satellite manager. In February 1999, Scott moved to Raleigh to take sales position with Bradford Sales.
JOE SMITH
Joe joined H&H Representatives in February, 1987 to aid in setting up the Raleigh office and warehouse. Joe works part-time in the Raleigh office. Joe's father who owned and operated Smith Plumbing Company, brought him into the company full-time in 1960. Joe remained with the firm until 1977, at which time the company was sold to Stahl-Rider. Joe became the Plumbing Department Manager with Stahl-Rider and continued there though 1983. These years in contracting saw Joe advance from apprentice to top management giving him extensive knowledge in the plumbing business. Joe began a new career in sales with Spec-Line in 1983. His knowledge of the contractors, engineers and wholesalers was a tremendous advantage and was instrumental in his success.
DENNIS STANLEY
Dennis joined H & H Representatives in September, 1991. Dennis is in charge of our Raleigh warehouse operation, were he handles all shipping, receiving and inventory functions.
YOLANDA CARRIZALES
Yolanda joined H & H Representatives in December, 2001. Yolanda works in our Raleigh office and handles all secretarial duties. She does all quotes, submittal requests, filing and telephone reception. In addition, she handles some inside sales calls.
CHAD RICHARDS
Chad joined H&H Representatives in December, 2007. Chad brings with him 12 years of plumbing industry sales experience, the last 8 years was with Wilkinson Supply in Raleigh. He is our Eastern NC outside sales representative for all plumbing lines. |
